Strategic Business Development Manager
This is an opportunity for a Strategic Business Development Manager with a PE-backed coatings manufacturing company that’s growing aggressively and investing heavily in commercial expansion.
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets (quota-carrying role) in a B2B environment
- Proven success in acquiring new clients and building strategic accounts from the ground up (not just account management/farming)
- Experience closing complex, high-value deals ($1M+), including multi-year agreements and long sales cycles
- Strong “hunter” mentality with the ability to independently generate pipeline (3x–5x coverage) and drive deals to close
- Background in industrial coatings, specialty chemicals, or highly technical manufacturing environments with the ability to sell value-based solutions
