Confidential VP of Sales

An exciting opportunity is available for a VP of Sales to join a PE-backed coating manufacturing company with strong year-over-year growth and a clear runway to win in the market. 

This role will own and drive new business growth — hunting and closing large strategic deals, building high-performance sales teams, and shaping the commercial strategy that powers the company's next phase of expansion. 

The right candidate will:   

  • Bring a demonstrated track record as a commercial executive who has successfully scaled a business of similar size, setting both short- and long-term growth strategy while working cross-functionally across the organization. 
  • Have a strong “hunter” mentality with the ability to independently generate pipeline (3x–5x coverage) and drive complex, high-value deals ($1M+) to close — including multi-year agreements and long sales cycles — while coaching and mentoring the sales force to do the same. 
  • Bring P&L ownership experience, including pricing authority, board-level reporting, and a proven ability to acquire new logos and build strategic accounts from the ground up (not just account management). 

In this role, you'll work directly with senior leadership to lead, hire, develop, and mentor a high-performance sales team — owning the full business outcome, not just sales results — with a clear path for professional growth for a proven producer who can consistently exceed targets.
